All Area Parents Invited to Attend District 214's Winter & Spring Parenting Classes

Registration for District 214's winter/spring lecture and discussion series, "What Every Parent Should Know," is open to all interested area parents. Twenty-six District 214 students have been selected among the finest high school musicians in the state to perform in the Illinois Music Educators Association (IMEA) All-State Festival on Jan. 25-28 in Peoria, Ill. Elk Grove's Orchestra to Host Concerts, Attend Symphony

The Elk Grove Music Department will be hosting a Solo and Ensemble Festival at the school on Thursday, Jan. 12, from 4-9 p.m. Band and Orchestra students from Rolling Meadows and Elk Grove High Schools will be participating in this event. Students will perform in an ensemble and/or as a soloist for a judge, who will critique their performances and give them feedback. Kindergartners and elementary school-aged girls residing in the Elk Grove High School attendance area are invited to participate in a Poms Clinic with the state-qualifying Elk Grove High School Poms team.
