Life Studies

The changing roles for men and women in today's society have brought new challenges to Life Studies. More demands are made upon individuals and families, as each person seeks to meet his or her potentional and desired quality of life. The central focus of the Life Studies program is human beings - their well-being and interactions in a particular environment, including business, education, family, and community. Emphasis is placed on individual or family well-being in their present and future environments.

Centering around the three major areas of Foods and Nutrition, Fashion and Design, and Child and Family, the Life Studies courses uniquely integrate the social, biological, natural, developmental and managerial sciences for the purpose of improving the human condition and the quality of life and service to individuals and families.
