Classroom Experience and Field Trips in Science

The Human Physiology class is a popular class for students interested in health and medical careers. The course uses a variety of models and dissection specimens to teach the functional anatomy of the human body. The Human Physiology and AP Biology courses culminate with a visit to the Harper College anatomy lab where they are given a tour of the lab and then have the opportunity to view cadavers.

The Physics classes participate in the annual Physics Day at Great America. The students must apply the physics they have learned during the year to real-life problems that revolve around the rides at the park.
