Natural
Sources of this nutrient in foods-
You
may be exposed to Vanadium in a harmful way. You may breathe it if exposed to
Vanadium Oxide which is burned off from industries that let out coal or fuel
oil . Foods that are rich in Vanadium include Black pepper, spinach, oysters, mushrooms,
shellfish, parsley, dill seed and more.

How
it is used by the body-
Vanadium
is not commonly used by the body. Vanadium is used in making steel parts and
mixing it with other metals to form alloys. Vanadium may enter the body through
the lungs if you breathe Vanadium Oxide by working in a industry that processes
it .Most of it can leave your lungs with the air you exhale, but some remains
in the lungs. This allows it to possibly release into your bloodstream, but
then exits through your feces. If it does enter the bloodstream it will quickly
be eliminated also through urine. Vanadium is not usually absorbed by the body
from the skin, stomach, or gut.

Effects
if this Nutrient is not present-
If you
do not obtain enough Vanadium in your system, no major risks will occur. Lack
of Vanadium may result in high blood pressure. Since it is not normally used in
the body , the body will normally function without this vitamin present.
