How sulfur is used by the body

       All living matter contains sulfur and therefore it is vital for life. In the human body sulfur is obtainable in two sulfur-containing amino acids, which are methionine and cysteine. The main purpose of sulfur is to dissolve waste materials form the body. It also gets rid of waste and poisonous substances from the body. Sulfur from the food is absorbed as an organic compound and after metabolism, it is changed into sulphate and excreted in the urine. Sulfur is

very important for the synthesis of vitamin B. 

       Sulfur is usually found in the hair, nails, and skin. Sulfur helps the immune system, fights the effects of aging, helps in the digestion of fats, controls the metabolism of carbohydrates, aids the liver in bile secretion, and helps age related illnesses. It also helps keep the skin clear of blemishes, makes hair shiny, cleans the blood, and helps protect up against toxic build-up in the body. Sulfur is a minor elements of fats, body fluids, and skeletal minerals.

Effects if sulfur is not present

       There is no big effect to the body if sulfur is not present. It may interfere with the healthy grow of hair and nails.
