The big event of our program is the annual "Big Show" which is performed in our school theater in late February. The show is comprised of twelve student choreographed pieces. All students are required to present a choreographed piece for a grade. Dances that will appear in the show are selected by the dance teacher. The show offers a variety of dance techniques including ballet, tap, break dancing, hip hop, jazz and multicultural dances. Students begin to prepare for the Big Show following homecoming. Several hours and months of rehearsal go into the final production which is evidenced by the many awards our dancers have won throughout the years.
