Montage is published by the yearbook staff and is distributed in May.

The yearbook is a historic document of the year. The book covers all of the activities, performances, athletics, people, and academics at Elk Grove High School. The book is published by Josten's Publishing Company and printed in State College, Pennsylvania.

Editor of the Year

Each year, the editors and staff select an editor as Editor of the Year. The award recognizes an editor who has contributed extraordinarily to the production of the book. Beginning in 1997, a scholarship award accompanies recognition as Editor of the Year. The award was first given in 1995.

Historical Information

This year the yearbook staff is also producing a CD Yearbook. This will include audio, video, graphics, and still pictures of the year and will be produced by Optech.

The yearbook is produced completely on computer. The staff uses Adobe PageMaker 5.0, Adobe Illustrator 7.0, and Adobe Photoshop 3.0 for its Macintosh System.

1998

The1998 Staff consists of 13 Editors. The editors worked during the summer to prepare for the year. The staff of 12 began working in the fall when school began. We added 20 other staff members outside of the yearbook class who take pictures, design pages and do artwork after school started. 

1997

The 1997 Staff consisted of 19 Editors and 18 staff members who took yearbook for academic credit. There were also 15 photographers and writers who were not in the class who contribute to the book.

The cost of the 1997 book was $25. The book contains 252 pages which cover the Fall and the Winter of the 1997 school year. The staff will produce a Spring Supplement, containing 32 pages. This will be distributed in September of next year. It will be mailed to graduated seniors.
