Senior Scholarships 09-10

THE SCHOLARSHIP FILE IN THE CCC:

Seniors must make it a priority to come in and go through the scholarship file in the College Career Center to see which scholarships they qualify for. Since every scholarship has different criteria, only the student themself knows if they qualify.  Some scholarships require an official EGHS transcript; others do not. Only scholarships that require an official EGHS transcript need to be processed through the CCC.

Scholarships arrive in the CCC at random times. Most of the larger and more inclusive scholarships are announced on the morning announcements when the applications arrive.  However, time limitations on the morning announcements precludes every single scholarship being announced.  So it is important for seniors to check the scholarship file regularly in the CCC. Every scholarship has a deadline, and if an official transcript is required as well as letters of recommendation, then the 10-day (10 full in-school days) prior to the deadline processing request is in effect.
