Concussions and the High School Athlete: What the Experts Want You to Know

Athletico is proud to present "Concussions and The High School Athlete- What the Experts Want You to Know" to be held on Thursday August 2^nd, 2012 from 6:30 to 9pm at Lake Park High School.  This forum is for high school athletes, parents, and coaches with the goal of educating the community on concussions and how we treat them.  There will be four presenters who will each give a 15 minute presentation on a topic regarding concussion recognition and management. The evening will conclude with a moderated Q & A panel discussion.  Among the presenters is a professional athletic trainer, a sport medicine physician, a neuropsychologist and a vestibular physical therapist.
