Reminder Seniors: National College Decision Day is May 1st. You must make the final decision of where you will be attending and confirm your enrollment with that school on or before this date.

Welcome to the Elk Grove High School College and Career Center.  This page will provide valuable information and resources to assist your student in planning for life after high school.  The College and Career Center has a variety of informational resources for college, vocational schools, and military.  Students have access to on line resources, catalogs, and college/career resource booklets.  

The College and Career Center is open from 7:45 am to 4:00 pm Monday - Friday.  All Students and parents are welcome to visit at any time.  

If you would like to make an appointment with Mr. Genovese take the following steps;
1) Go to www.naviance.com and log in. (all log ins are @stu.d214.org email's)
2) Complete the College Search or SuperMatch College Search and add colleges you are interested in.
3) Complete the Post High School Planning Survey under the "About Me" Section.
Once these steps are complete you may come down to the College and Career Center and set up an appointment time or you may call Mr. Quaglia at 847-718-4442. 


NAVIANCE PLANNING AND ADVISING SYSTEM: Elk Grove High School is encouraging students to access Naviance which is a secure web-based planning and advising system that helps families navigate through high school and explore post high school options.

What Can Naviance Do?

- Search and match colleges by specific criteria
- Compare colleges
- Display application statistics from EGHS
- Compile college plans
- Track college and scholarship applications
- Receive emails from counselors on upcoming events including college rep. visits and other guidance events
- Research scholarship opportunities
