District 214 Library Mission Statement
The goal of library services is to support District 214 Goals of preparing all students to be college and career ready. Library staff will maintain a positive, welcoming learning environment and uphold state (AISLE) and national standards (AASL) through student instruction and staff collaboration.
Elk Grove High School's Library provides resources and support for our students in the areas of research, literacy, and independent reading. There are more than 16,000 books, more than 25 magazine and newspaper subscriptions, and dozens of online databases for our students to access both at school as well as remotely.

Our Virtual Library: Sora by Overdrive and Axis360: You can check out eBooks and audiobooks on your digital device. To sign in to Sora by Overdrive and Axis 360, you should use your net ID.
Flipster: You can read 24 magazines on your digital device. For home access, ask a library staff member for the passwords.
District 214 Library Resources: This will direct you to the district databases and other library resources.
Request a Library Book Purchase: We appreciate your suggestions for new materials. If you would like to read a book that our library does not own, please complete this form and we will consider your request.
